Granted I’ve been meaning to make this post since, well, two weeks ago, I figured it’s better late than never, right? I’ve never made a goals post before, but I’m a huge fan of proactive living and after seeing a bunch of others… I felt inspired to finally make one myself.

1. Sleep More
This is probably the one thing I struggle most with. I’m an awful procrastinator and I prefer staying up late to waking up early. Four AM is when I come alive and I tend to do a bulk of my work after 11PM at night. Bad habits are always the hardest to kick though, so I’m trying to make this one really stick (
I say as I write this at 12:50 AM).
2. Stop Spending So Much
While this may seem like a frivolous goal, I realize that I spend way too much and probably far too often. With the autumnal weather comes my trigger happy finger when I’m online shopping, or when I’m in Sephora browsing the aisles. I’m trying to save, save, save (especially if I plan on moving in with my boyfriend on the Cape in the summer months). I’m trying to make my form of therapy writing instead of shopping. It’s working wonders.
3. Get Out and Shoot
I’m a huge Gram-Girl… and by this, I mean that I like to have everything on my Instagram on fleek. I love photography and being able to go out and take pictures of beautiful things other than the products I’m reviewing. My hugest resolve is to get out on a slightly overcast day and shoot, shoot, shoot. I have tons of ideas for blog material as well as Instagram, and I know it’s something a lot of people will take to as well. I’m really trying to make this happen this month, without a doubt.
4. Reach 500 Twitter Followers
Seeing as I’ve had my Twitter for a total of three days and am now at 230 followers, I wouldn’t say it’s super far fetched to want to reach 500. I’m super proud I finally got over my hatred of Twitter and made one for the sake of the blog (checking off a task from my September checklist in the process), and it’s been great! Engagement and pageviews are both up. I’m just being greedy 🙂
5. Devote More Time to Pinterest & Facebook Groups
Again, I realize these are both promotional goals, but they have to be done. I’ve neglected Pinterest for far too long and I only just realized the traffic it can bring to the blog. Like me, my blog is growing one day at a time. It needs all the love and nurturing it can get hehe.
6. Run for 35 minutes
I used to be into running, then stopped running, and now I’m getting back into it. Not only does it burn fat like that, it also helps me relieve the anxiety and stress. Running makes me feel like the best person I can be, and I’m addicted to that feeling.
7. Finish the book I’m reading
It really is the small things in life. If I can finish this book, I will finally feel complete.
