» Inspired by the changing of seasons and the orange leaves falling, this is a playlist to listen to when the light dims and the trees die and the Earth sheds its former self. This is a playlist of warmth, of solicitude, and of growth. This is a playlist to listen to while nestling close a warm cup of joe or the hand of a lover. They say that days pass more slowly and there’s less light that streams through. This is a playlist for aging and the reluctance of doing so. After traveling around Europe for a better half of the month of August and moving back to DC for another wonderful (yet whirlwind) year of school, I’ve hardly had any time at all to post. You know how it is– always school, friends, boyfriend, family first… not always in that order.
Blogging, for me, is a form of therapy. It’s not something I do because I have to, or because I want to make money from it, or because it’s cool. It’s simply a fun way for me to keep track of my day to day. Seeing as I haven’t had much time to keep track of my day to day as it happens, much less blog about it, I thought I’d share my most helpful apps for blogging on the go.
My last blog post was written, created, and edited solely on my iPad, and it has been my new baby as of early August. The iPad really does simplify my social media inundated life, and it’s just an added bonus that it’s so easy to carry around. Below I’ve detailed some apps that are useful for iPad blogging.
I’ll admit, it’s that time of the year where the summer is in full swing, there’s hardly time to make cereal much less cook, and it’s the beach all-day-every-day or work. It’s easy to get stressed out, overtired, and over-scheduled, which is why it is more important than ever to keep both your mind and your body clear. One of my favorite ways to relax and detox in the summer months is to sit down in the sun with a good book and a juice, and read.
Below I’ve compiled some tips on how to get the most from your juices, my favorite flavor add ins, and how to juice without a juicer (*whispers* yes, it’s way easier than you may think! *end whisper*).
